Ok, it’s down to the nitty gritty! Do you like the music we play? Do you want it to stay commercial free? Do you like being able to make requests and getting them played quicker than any other station on the internet?
Well, what most of you don’t realize is ASCAP charges us as a On-Demand Network so we can provide these services for you. Until now all this money has come out of our pockets. Now we are asking for help!
Would you make donations to your favorite station to help us continue to grow? Over the past year hundreds of Internet Broadcasters have turned off their stations due to the new royalty laws but we have continued to grow! We added a new Quad Core Server, 7 new streaming relays and introduced the second edition of our streaming software. This hasn’t been cheap!
What it boils down to is we need to start getting donations or we have to change the way we operate. Our choices include:
* Do away with song requests and pay lower royalties.
* Start running paid commercials throughout each hour.
* Make the station a private paid membership environment.
* Get people to donate to help with expenses.
All we ask is that you donate whatever you can afford each month. Even if it is only five bucks. That shouldn’t hurt anyone. We have the rarest collection of music available anywhere and we enjoy sharing it with you.
