We have several new changes coming to Acoustic Alternative Radio in 2010.
First off, The Acoustic Rock Power Hour has moved to a daily show which airs Mon. – Fri. from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST. The Power Hour is the driving force behind the second change.
Second, our Facebook Group went over 1,000 members and we will be giving away free music during the Power Hour each week. This is extremely exciting and participation in the group has been remarkable! If you haven’t joined yet just use the banner at the top of the page and join today. We don’t want you to miss out.
Probably the largest change, beginning in Feb. we will begin streaming advertisements during every hour of programming. We have absolutely no choice in this matter. We are a licensed station and up to this point Wes and KJ have been paying all costs out of their pockets, including the royalty fees for playing the great music you hear. We are taking listener input on this matter in the comment section of this post.
The answer to the ads; for those of you who don’t want to hear advertisments in the stream we are putting together a HD Version of Acoustic Alternative which will be strictly a membership only stream. High Def, no ads and special promotions just for members. If you want more info on Acoustic Alternative HD use the contact form and we will respond shortly with details.
